Yes, difference only being the upgrade of RAM from 1GB to 2GB and flash storage from 8GB to 16GB. Others like processor etc. are all the same between R2 and R2e.

No, all recent Xiaomi phones does not support NFC. Only their previous Mi 2 support NFC.
