Current outstanding loan balance > $200k. Planning of refinance/repackaging my housing loan. Will dump a lump sum of $40k to principal before refinance or repricing. Outstanding loan balance will be around $160k
Queries:
1). With $160k of outstanding loan amount, is it easy to refinance/repackaging?
2). What are the other considerations?
3). If I'm taking up no lock-in refinance package, and keep dumping partial pre-payment few years down the road, and reduce the outstanding loan balance to $100k.
a). Will I be considered for 2 time repackaging with my current bank?
b). Will it be easy to refinance with outstanding loan amount $100K?
4). Thinking of taking up repricing package with SOR or board rate pegged with 2 years lock-in period, worth? Understand that no lawyer fee involved. Will I be charged for any bank admin fees (and how much)?
5). If I take up other refinance package with SIBOR pegged, I will kenna charge lawyer fee of $1.8k to $2k. Is it worth to refinance?
