Hi all

Not sure if this is the right forum as seems most here are looking at Thailand as a holiday destination.

On the other hand I have an opportunity to relocate to BKK with an MNC with it's APAC base in BKK. Have been living in SG for a long time so wanted to have a change in environment and also desire a higher quality of life and life experience. Pay package is above local equivalent level pay but still lower than what I will be getting in Singapore. Mainly because of higher tax in Thailand and no CPF contribution. I'm renegotiating to close the gap to what I'm currently getting in SG but will definitely not be able to close the gap in the first year or so. Any thoughts opinions or experience by fellow forumers? Is this a good move?

Depending on you if want to change of environment. Example if you relocate does your coy include apartment or you find yourself? You need to compare alot which only you can decide yourself.

Yeah. I'd love to hear from forumers who have gone through the same route and done it to see if it's worth it.

You need to have a rough guide on whats your expenses, in thailand i believe you will travel on most weekends and that will eat up alot of your money.
