Repair GFX card?

Hi all.

So after troubleshooting and replacing parts i figured out that the GFX card in my system is spoiled after i borrowed a friend's for the time being.

The card is an MSI 5870 which is out of warranty and out of production too.

Is there somewhere to repair it or i am only left with the option of chucking it.

Nvm, get a more powerful one. GTX580 or something.

No point repairing really. Just buy a new one.

damn so that means just chucking away the card?

yes, nothing really you can do about it.
alternatively you can try to "bake" the card at your own risk, (since the card is dead anyway).
just do a google search to learn how

Anyway, the good news is that gfx cards turn obsolete as time passes by, so u are better off buying new ones.
