I had a chance to visita friend’s apartment at the new reef condo
This is built by Woh Hup, which was initially the builder I thought RR will use..

Fittings and build quality very impressive
A very nice resort feel
Car park easy entry with minimal pillar obstacles but it also encourages your grab drivers to go down quite quickly
Dangerous for block 20 which is near the entrance
Windy and you can get a nice sunset.
Free outdoor blinds or screens provided
MCST fee less impressive at 400 plus for a studio

MCST fees should be cheaper at RR but the larger number of units will make this place feel more crowded with a HDB upgrader / EC vibe..

Indeed, i see new reef is pretty good. Developer also gave free build in shoe rack outside main door

Wardrobe door is glass, classy.

If creekside level 11 (back of the unit faces PIE) is selling for 2680 psf... wonder what the sub-sales will be for the others

if you got 5m, i doubt you'll be taking mrt enough for it to be a factor, just imo.

Prolly those household >10M truly no need MRT.
Can have 2nd car (MPV) and wife fetch the kids….or kids simply take grab everywhere

actually... i do know pple with that kind of networth staying GCB or bungalows, and the kids esp the teenagers do travel by public transport. They don't like to let parents decide when they go home and they yearn to join their friends. Sometimes quite dangerous for young girls to walk back home from bus stop/MRT at night if the house is deeper in and the alleys are dark (okie la SG is quite safe but cannot be complacent also)

the upbringing also... some kids like you mentioned will Grab everywhere, some kids the parents do not pamper them and want them to take public transport

and i agree $5m like not that high now? EDMW $20k/mth one, their households smelly smelly a few mil?

As to whether he subsequently made his way to a car (with chauffeur and bodyguard) waiting for him, I did not bother finding out.
