Valid point and I agree that CPF is good for older people with sufficient funds in CPF, but what if I dont have a lump sum or if I do not contribute CPF or if I do not have enough to hit min sum?
I am open to any retirement plan or annuity payments that can beat the CPF retirement payout. So far none!
Initially you mentioned "put in say $500/month for 15 years, let it accumulate for another 5 years, you can get back about $1,100/month for the next 15 years". That was a fair deal or may be better than CPF Life even without the non-guaranteed bonus.
