retrieving apple ID

Hi guys, last time i registered an apple ID using my email, say xxx@hotmail.com

but i forgot the password and now i wanna log in, i cant.

i tried to retrieve my password by asking them to send to my email above, but everytime i key in i never receive.

or do i need to create another new apple ID? any pros or cons if create new one?

Have you checked your junk folder
Do you have a credit card tied to that account?

Its ok... i use my ipad and realize my apple id is xxx@icloud.com.

The previous hotmail and gmail also have reg before but totally cant retrieve liaoz
