Hi everyone, am planning a road trip to nz, or maybe aus.
Is there any recommendation on the itinerary? would like to go sky diving too.

Took a double-take there. How to drive to NZ and Australia?

First and foremost, state budget and duration. Both are big countries, so it's better to narrow down your options.

NZ is generally more expensive compared to Aussie, plus it being further away means no budget flight there. Both countries offer sky diving, but I've only done it in NZ.

I spent 2.5k all in, for NZ south island 10days including skydiving two years ago. But we slept in our camper van and cost shared among 6pax.

is it dangerous slping in a caravan?

I didn't get to see. Don't think it's easy to see aurora.
You can skydive at queentowns or wanaka. I did it at queentowns.
