Now its like anytime, anyday n everywhere. Just place the far_king orange cone as they deemed fit.

I remembered last time most r in the night time..now its so frequent that most part of the roads that they dont even bother to levelled it after they patched it up.

If it is to save manpower cost by doing it daytime, shouldn't we be getting road tax discount? After all we r paying the same if not more amount of road tax as compared to last time.

No bashing of ice, hybrid n ev pls..this applies to all.

They don't level it cos every night they gotta close back and morning they gotta open up again.

And most of these are cable works (apart from the more obvious Mrt works), and these cable upgrades are for our EV power grid.

And that's y I keep saying our charging network is progressing slower than Malaysia for this reason, cos they don't need open up the road.

Not all road works by SP r for power..I have seen quite a fair bit the signage stated as Gas works..

Think nowadays most of the digging are for anything but the road itself. One of the downside of burying everything underground under the road. Messy and troublesome maintenance and repair. At first shiok only. After than its all the way not that shiok liao with uasge and ageing.

Its the price we have to pay by laying our power cable underground

most countries build their power networks above ground, on overhead power lines

they have significantly lesser roadworks

Precisely....lets just say they laid the cables for EV..but is the power grid/station able to sustain the load? Everytime when I pass by one, I will tend to look at the signage to see what the digging are for..not everytime is for power.
