Hi

I would like to know the various training phases for the new AFE under the MDES scheme. I understand that OCS will be 9 months, with the first as CLM.

May I know what are the subsequent phases, and what these phase entails (Like the bulk of what the trainees do). I also heard that there will be ME4T and ME4A ranks before ME4-1. I heard I got to skip CLM phase as I've done BSLC, so I would like to know what rank and I be emplaced when entering OCS. If it's ME4T, when will ME4A come in?

In addition, when moving between ranks (Specifically only looking at ME4T -> ME4A -> ME4-1), will there be difference in the salary.

I can only answer the ME4 rank portion.

When you are a trainee and when your rank is white colour, you are ME4T. ME4A is a thick meepok without the meekia on top after you get commissioned. This rank is necessary as you are required to be certified again as a true ME4, when your meekia comes in.

Every rank you achieve has a pay increment.
