Chance upon this very very interesting video comparing the 6800XT and RTX 3080. Since the 6900XT is basically a souped up 6800XT, this may provide a good reference frame to consider. Points of interest:
- 6800XT performs similarly with the 2080 Ti in 3DMark Port Royal (ray tracing bench)
- variable performance depending on Optix/CUDA rendering
- real-world gaming performance is largely comparable
- 1440p ultrawide included in testing
Point to note: he is running AIB cards at their stock settings. I.e. there is factory OC but no further OC tweaks. I.e. it is representative of out-of-box performance for these 3rd party offerings.
