[Ryzen] Third Party Software or Bios for OC?

Hi ryzen users, what do you use to oc your cpu?
i used asrock utility at first and achieved a stable overclock. when i set it in the bios cpu-z showed slightly higher readings for the voltage, how do i calibrate it?

Stick to BIOS or Ryzen Master for OC. Many guides around now so can look up with quick search if needed.

Anyways as long as temps not crazy then should be good to go.

Ryzen master is useful for exploring and tweaking. Once you find OC settings that you want to stick to permanently, reset ryzen master to defaults and dial in the same settings in your bios.

I use BIOS to Overclock.
ASRock BIOS has some great features for OC-ing but tricky to find in a lot of sub menus.

Just experiment with Clock speeds, Voltages and Load Line Calibration.
Load Line Calibration is probably what causes the higher voltage you're seeing in CPU-Z.

Level 1 will have higher voltage given to the cores (Vcore) to combat Vdroop.. Level 5 has the lowest. I find Level 2 or 3 to be juist nice...

Got it to be stable at 3.9 GHz, 1.381V LLC 3 for my 1700X. Do test extensively for overclocks. Some voltages seems stable in games but crashes with heavy loads aka Photo/video exporting.
