I am a senior citizen looking for a new Samsung A32 5G phone. Is this a good choice, and is it best to buy online or in a shop ? Good battery life and ease of use are my primary concerns, cameras not so much.

I think the A32 is quite decent, definitely better value for money compared to the A53.

Using an A52s myself, and if you don't care for the 120Hz screen refresh (cos it drains battery), the phone can last 1.5-2d on a single charge, depending on your usage. My previous Pixel 4a lasted a day fine, so this is a welcome upgrade.

The price for A52s 128 GB is less than $100 more than A32

It is a much better phone. I rather you get the A52s. Last I checked on Shopee, it was $429 for the 128 GB version. I paid $498 back in November.

But seems like out of stock now. Only left the 256 GB version.

If you can afford it, get A52s instead. Can easily use for 2 years at least. If you think of it this way, using it per day costs you less than $1

Don't waste your money on the A32 5G there is nothing redeeming about it. the screen is really... bad. please go to Challenger or Samsung stores to see the screen. you might not be able to tell that it's 720p but the colours look very washed out and the viewing angles are terrible.

suggest you go for the A33 5G or last year's A52s. you might pay 100-150 more i think but it's way worth the money for the long run. forgot to mention A32 5G has a glossy back and it's plastic so it feels very disgusting to touch.
