I am a senior citizen looking for a new Samsung A32 5G phone. Is this a good choice, and is it best to buy online or in a shop ? Good battery life and ease of use are my primary concerns, cameras not so much.

I think the A32 is quite decent, definitely better value for money compared to the A53.
Using an A52s myself, and if you don't care for the 120Hz screen refresh (cos it drains battery), the phone can last 1.5-2d on a single charge, depending on your usage. My previous Pixel 4a lasted a day fine, so this is a welcome upgrade.

Don't waste your money on the A32 5G there is nothing redeeming about it. the screen is really... bad. please go to Challenger or Samsung stores to see the screen. you might not be able to tell that it's 720p but the colours look very washed out and the viewing angles are terrible.
suggest you go for the A33 5G or last year's A52s. you might pay 100-150 more i think but it's way worth the money for the long run. forgot to mention A32 5G has a glossy back and it's plastic so it feels very disgusting to touch.
