Unlike the iWatch thread that I have posted, this is set to launch in Sept. 4 at IFA, together with N3.

Unbelievable, the Samsung Gear is even more less appealing than my other Android timepieces. At least they got a phone built in them. The last thing I need is another Bluetooth wrist watch that don't even work with non Samsung devices.

Seriously... I don't think the Galaxy Gear will be a game changer... to be frank, this watch seems to be more hyped up than anything else. It'll be better if they could make it work as a phone by itself, without being synced to an actual phone (and why ONLY the Note 3... what if people don't want to buy a new phone...)

or does it need to connect to the phone ALL the time in order for it to be used.

Some bro here recontract the note 3 and sell away their existing handset to finance the gear. U should consider it too.
