So far frankly not much news or rumours about this device other than a few images with the boot up screen saying "Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini", but unsubstantiated rumours suggests a Snapdragon 808 SoC, 2 GB of RAM, 4.6" or 4.7" screen with 720p resolution, and a 15 MP camera.
It could be possible that the device will be release alongside Samsung unpacked event come August 13th where the Note 5, and S6 Edge + is expected to be released. Since there is likely to be an S6 variant announced at that event, it wouldn't be strange to see another like the S6 Mini.
Hopefully, as the rumour suggested, it won't be watered-down too much like older "mini" devices. And will instead be a competent flagship level compact device like the Z3 Compact series of devices.
Anyone else prefer smaller devices too? I had the Z3 Compact and really love the size, and I am now using a Galaxy Alpha, which is sort of a compact device with flagship level specs and features as well. Really hoping the S6 Mini will be good.
