Assuming yrs is the 3G ver, I think max you will be able to get is ard $180-$200 - in the other post, a shop quoted a trade-in price of only $150 3 months ago. Just bear in mind that a brand-new huawei mediapad dual-core with 3G and 1280X800 pixels and upgradeable to ICS is selling for only $298 at Challenger

You could put it up for bidding with your own reserved price and see what the market is willing to pay

Rooted and updated rom to AOKP ICS 4.0.4 rom

Surprisingly, this tab p1000 with only 512mb ram is still going strong. my tried and tested update process is:

Froyo 2.2 -> flash Gb using Odin -> flash Overcome kernel using Odin -> flash Overcome 4.1 rom using CWM recovery > flash AOKP ICS rom using CWM recovery.

Phone, camera, wifi, all working smoothly.

My tab seems unable to read any sim cards. Anyone can help?

Restock your tab p1000 to gingerbread 2.3. That worked for me when I lost my baseband and imei during the process of flashing to cyanogen mod 9.

I am on JB build using AOKP builds, personally, their builts are more stable and better. I never had any problems with them since last Nov that I flashed.

JB for Tab is pretty fast but I just load off my SGT7 for Nexus 7...

Do you have the thread for the JB AOKP SGT7? How much did you get to load off your SGT7? I was thinking to do that but I think the price is very low for still a good device hahaha...

i tried to flash with odin but somehow something went wrong and the tab is bricked. it just stay on the screen showing the phone and pc with a yellow sign inbetween.

i tried to unbrick it using kies, heimdall etc but nothing works. i am not quite sure if there is errors along the way.

anyone has any solutions?

Wow.. old thread.. old device.

Hmm I believe you need the proper version of Odin first, Odin3 V1.7

The Firmware should be this one - SG Firmware (https://drive.google.com/uc?id=0B5W4XbInattwSWg1bTlnQjZuaW8&export=download)
The PIT File - PIT ZIP
The DBDATA file - DBDATA.zip

1. Turn off the tablet, Go to download mode (VOLUME DOWN AND POWER BUTTON)
2. Open ODIN3 v1.7
3. Click on the PDA and select the firmware zip
4. Clink on the PIT and select pit file gt-p1000_mr_PIT
5. Check only RE-PARTITION, "uncheck f.reset time"
6. Connect your tab in computer
7. If ODIN detects your phone PRESS START in ODIN
8. Wait for it until complete, after that disconnect your tab
   
9. Press and hold power button until the device will turn off
10. Reopen ODIN3 v1.7 again
11. UNCHECK it all "re-partition, f.reset time"
12. Click on the PDA and select dbdata.zip
13. Go to download mode (VOLUME DOWN AND POWER BUTTON)
14. Connect your tab in computer
15. If ODIN detects your phone PRESS START in ODIN
16. Wait for it until complete, after that disconnect your tab.

i tried this till step 8, it showed "failed" and after i removed the tab from pc, it has been showing the mobile to pc with the yellow sign. so i believed it's been bricked.

any methods to unbrick it?

it was rather short and the last statement indicated "failed". can't quite remember the exact statement though.

then tab got bricked and unable to try again.
