For performance at this pricing, either a 690/Titan or 2x GTX 680.

However if selling the games, the 7990 is quite value.

Not everyone's mobo has 2 slots though..... Mine only got 1 pcie slot....... And I don't want Titan. Titan is just slightly faster than than GTX680 but cost 2x the price. But GTX690 and 7990 both got 2 GPUs..... faster than titan anytime of the day.

titan is basically an overpriced gtx680 if you look at the priced for the performance

Look at the heatsink fins orientation. Which way does AMD/Sapphire wants the air to exhaust?

front and back, back goes out of casing anyway, the other gpu exhaust out near to hdd area which normally case fans can push heat back out too, so looks ok mah

I don't find it relevant to compare single gpu to dual gpu.

But 2x680 the most you can upgrade is 3x680 as 4 cards will scale really bad. For Titan you are paying for the upgradability. The main selling point is, its a single GPU card. I never owned a Titan before but i believe a good OC-ed Titan can match or come close to 690. So for $1600, I believe Titan is the better buy compared to dual GPU solution.

Can, but GTX690 can oc as well. And it oc pretty well from what I read in reviews....Thats why I am leaning towards GTX690 right now.... But see how new drivers from 7990 goes, I may opt for 7990 cause its faster and I have been using AMD/ATI cards all these while.

Single Moniter vs Multi Moniter in relate to which gpu

I read this on one website and it says:
Lets say if you're going to play on very high resolution on several screens, then the titan would be ideal due to the high vram and 384-bit. GK104 is made for the regular resolutions like 1080p and sometimes 1440p that is only with the GTX 670, 680 and 690 though, while the GK110, the Titan, does superbly at the highest resolutions at several screens.

So for multi moniter and folks who want a single gpu with possible titan sli, titan should be good to go.

some games that uses sli also may not do well on titan
while titan will outform in games that doesnt uses sli

Although Titan has more RAM its GPU is still not powerful enough to handle the most demanding games at very high resolution. Unless go SLI.
