SAT results

Hey guys, just would like to know, will using SAT results help in the application process for local universities? (apart from law which is necessary)

I made enquiries with the 3 local unis and the answers I got were generally the same, whereby "SAT is no longer included in the application criteria and therefore will not be considered in the application process".

However, I do personally know of people submitting their SAT results anyway in their applications during the recent 2013/2014 admissions.

What are your opinions?

Unlikely that it will help. Your A-level or poly results usually come in as first priority for their decision making. Unless you can score pretty well, about 2100 or 2200, then yeah. I had one friend who did pretty badly(CCD) for A-levels but got a 2200 for his SAT and got into SMU Social Sci. SMU seems like the only one that seriously considers SAT results may be due to their american-like system. Not worth to take unless youre confident in getting the above mentioned range.
