Quick question here, if I sell my US stocks on my Saxo account, will they auto convert the money from selling the US stocks to SGD currency? Or will just remain as USD currency in my account?

Trying to keep USD currency to avoid the Saxo currency conversion fees.

What is your default currency? Mine is in USD so when I sold my US stocks, it will remain in USD

I believe mine is SGD. Is there a way to change it to USD default currency? I don't want to incur any possible transaction fee when I sell my US stocks and they auto convert USD to SGD.

You can log in to check your default currency. I once bought HK shares and it was auto-converted to USD once I sold them.

Bumping this up...

So my default currency is SGD. So if I sell a USD stock, it'll auto convert to SGD?

I asked if I can get a separate USD account they say need minimum 50k funding, any way around this?
