Hi guys, I'm currently trying to apply for scholarships to fund my university studies. What's the pros and cons of a bonded scholarship? I'm only applying to those that I have some interest in, so working for the company after graduating should be ok.
There are some scholarships that have annual allowance instead of paying for your studies + other miscellaneous fees. For example, the HDB specialist scholarship provides $15k per year (http://www.hdb.gov.sg/cs/infoweb/ab...nd-internships/the-hdb-specialist-scholarship). I checked the school fees and it is around $8k per year, with hostel (estimate $2k - NUS residential college), total around $10k. I have $5k remaining for other miscellaneous stuff. Is my calculation correct?
