Anyone having tried this yet?

Been trying yesterday and have some comments.

Pros

-Looks good
-1TB!

Cons

-Power button seems hard (like depressed)...Is my unit faulty?
-Power drain was quite obvious (maybe that's because it was my first time using and unit was constantly indexing):s22:
-No of users is always showing +1 (for eg if I log in from 3 units, it will show 4) ... maybe because I am using the wireless bypass to connector to router?
- connection is unstable. After sometime, connection will be disconnected and its impossible to get a login. Have to restart the wireless disk which is a pain.
- not easy to switch on and off....maybe my unit is broken? Have to sometimes hold for seconds before the unit resets.
- gets really hot fast!

Will continue to test over the next few days and comment.

Seems to have more cons than pros when I started to use it.

Prefer my wifidisk from Hichan. Capacity is small but easier to use

Build:
The 1 tb drive is encased in a plastic shell with a top brushed aluminium cover. The build feels pretty solid, whether it is actually solid or not I'm not really interested to test it out.

Speed:
The upload speed over the wireless is quite satisfactory for me. I do not have a USB 3 port on my mid-2011 MBP so cant test the USB 3 transfer speed. Streaming videos to my nexus 7 is pretty seamless.

Power:
Based on my usage over past 2 days, haven't really felt the battery draining too fast. Does get warm after some time. No issues with my power button, depress and the WL+ will start up but there is a 30s to 1 min startup time before the WL+ is detectable..

Ease of use:
It's not entirely dummy proof, but also not unfriendly. probably just needs getting used to. Some connectivity issues here and there. sometimes have issues connecting to the router.

Others:
Not personal experience but other users of android handphones are unable to upload contents of the sd card to the WL+, only contents stored within the handphone memory can be accessed.

Thumbnails of some pictures not displaying because of a metadata issue

Haven't come across any encryption option, what you upload is open for all to see and if you lose the device, nothing can stop people from looking into the files.

Conclusion:
A good product that can do with more polishing. Heard that there is a firmware update in the works, hopefully that will iron out some issues
