duno the exact location but suspect is below the chair seat

A creaking sound starts to appear after 3 years.
Just like how a door will start to squeak after a few years of opening and closing.

It just means that the lubricant has dried up. So as what other people say, use WD40 that you would use for your door to stop it from squeaking, then turn the door a few times to let the oil seep through and lubricate it well.

Apply the same concept to the chair where the source of the sound is.
