Can seek your advice on the following:
- anyone took eva air 0955 flight back to sg before? what time you need to reach taoyuan airport? was it very rush for you in the morning and what mode of transport did you took and what time did you leave taipei for the airport? any advice if planning to take this flight back?
- any hotels to recommend in taipei for solo room solo traveler?

flight there is EVA air br216 1545 to 2015 but kena delayed and end up only come out to arrival hall with baggage at 10 pm plus
flight back is EVA air br215 0955 to 1430
stayed deluxe double room at mayer inn (

http://www.mayerinn.com/?Version=EN-US ) as it is directly opposite taipei main station(TMS) and have room that comes with private bathroom. heng they have 24 hr recep desk as flight was delayed and ended up reach hotel around 11pm plus. proximity to TMS also means that no need to walk so far to and from the airport MRT. Overall the hotel was quite a good location at Z2 of the TMS exit as it is the closest of the Z exits to the blue MRT line. it is also quite near from exit K12 if walk above ground. The gate at underground mall level from K to Z zone (
) was closed when i reached at 11 pm plus. heng already watched and searched how to walk to hotel before hand liao, so just went back up to K12 and go to street level to walk to the hotel from street level K12 to street level Z2.
for flight back, checked out 5am plus before 6am and walked to the airport MRT from street level to K12 then to the in-town check in. completed the in-town check in after it open at 6am ish and took the 0615 express train to T2. By 0740 already cleared immigration, security check & bought breakfast, sitted and ready to jiak liao. when finish eating still got a lot of time (like 1 hr plus? ) to walk around before boarding started at 0920 ish.
