How is my this post derailing? I'm just replying to fellow member
@enigmastar about something factual and that the posts are worrying and not fit for a family forum. It's not even derail. Just stating a fact.
Can anyone explain the infractions?
offending post:
the posts are worrying... its not fit for a family forum..
If you have a problem with their posts. you can report them.
Moderators are not editors, we are not here to decide what is factual or not.
You were not warned for fake news, you were warned for not being on topic.
Topic is "AMDK 活该！President Zelensky says the energy crisis is a price worth paying to take on Russia and avoid world war."
But you choose to go talk about other people
as mentioned in my previous clarifications.
Generally for discussion forum, we try to not be over prescriptive about being on topic especially for a chit chat forum like EDMW, however in recent years, discussion topics in EDMW have turned more serious and correspondingly, there have been a more folks on both side who are very emotionally vested in such topics.
The 3 topics are namely pro and anti vaxxer, Sino US rivalry and Russo-Ukraine War.
There are already many topic that cater to those folks and other folks are simply not interested in the squabbling outside of those thread as such we do not condone people pushing their agenda in non related threads.
these kind of inflammatory posts where the intention is to discuss other members or rile up other members instead of discussing the thread topic, are not welcome
Members cant have it 3 ways, on 1 hand want to be able to discuss serious topics in a casual forum and being able make snipe remarks since its a casual chit chat forum.
on the other hand keep spamming reports on these topics when folks do not agree with you, then expecting that snipe remarks go unpunished.
the last point is not directed at you specifically, but all those who participate in such topics.
