Am planning to take bus to Malacca walk walk. Is it safe to take long hours bus if raining? Or if morning should be safe?

To maximise your time at Malacca for a day trip, consider the itinerary:
7am depart SG, arrive 12nn Malacca.
7pm depart Malacca, arrive midnight SG

This gives you 6 hours or so at Malacca. This is too much time on the bus and too little time at Malacca.

Stay one night better imo. You go all the way there and don't enjoy the city at night, such a shame.

So much food to eat there, if you do day trip, the most you eat lunch full meal and chendol for tea break, shop a bit then time to come back liao.

Day trip may be ok if you know exactly what you want to do, which shops you want to go. Somewhat like running errands ticking off your to do list rather than holiday.

ha ok. now me looking at what to do there and how to go there.
I take it very slow and chill when I'm in Malacca. Eat, shop, massage, drink. Somehow the whole day go by so fast. If you want fast paced chiong here and there maybe go KL liao.

If staying for 2 nights, can spend some time at the 2 shopping centres especially when the weather gets too hot. I wouldn't spend too much time cos mostly the usual chain shops where I can get the stuff during JB day trips.

Yes, let's hear what you plan to do. Malacca is more than eat, shop, massage, drink.
I enjoy walking along the streets or the river to discover old trades and crafts. I enjoy visiting temples and shrines. I also visit the museums around St Paul's from time to time. Perhaps these are the itineraries you plan.
