Trying to find out the procedure for selling a car.

Is it I must go thru a dealer, like sell the car to them or can I sell to the other party (carousell etc) by simply doing a transfer at onemotoring?

Forgot to mention that bought it just a month ago. So selling means I have to look at the depreciation too. Which means that I am loosing that 1 year?

Or I should use 1 year and then sell it off?

TIA

Direct selling means you put advert on carousel and sgcarmart.

If you go thru dealer means sell by consignment

Most important is to make sure no more loan. Else unable to do the transfer via one motoring.

1. Advertise anywhere online
2. Wait for people to call , view car , agree price , etc
3. Payment made , transfer car

Make sure it is either TT , paynow , cashier's order. Never accept personal cheque.

If direct buyer and need loan can always try direct dbs online. Decent rates and quite efficient.

You don't need a dealer to do all these if both know what they are doing.

Everything is online.

Now is super easy online ..

Process itself is easy to transfer ownership yourself. The selling process however is a real pain in the a@@...have to deal with dealers trying to lowball, consignment agents trying to get you to place your car with them, and finally time wasting tyre kickers. Thats why most people just trade in their car to the car agent.

No loan at all, as this car I bought 2nd hand and I am the second owner. Full cash when I bought it.

The steps you mentioned looks pretty straight forward.

Buying and selling after 1 month. Unless coe appreciates tremendously, you are going to lose a good amount of money

You are going to loose alot unless your stated price is so attractive as compared to those ads by dealers.
Buy car from dealer, have warranty. While you won't able to provide.
You sell now or later, does not matter.
Good luck!

Do a search on Sgcarmart. Same car model and year. Direct owner selling price. Take reference from there.

Deregister is worst case. Pls don't go there unless you cannot find buyer.

5 year old car? I thk smelly smelly annual depre also 8k for B&B car.

Mind letting us know why you so fast buy so fast want to sell? You probably paid at least 45-55k cash for a B&B. If not B&B, then youve got money to burn so no sympathies from most of us here.

TS bought from dealer or direct seller? If direct I think should be easy as the profit for dealer is not included.

Since no loan, just advert online to a higher selling price.
Look for direct buyer while u drive the car.

Only test drive if price is right.
Always talk about price before they come down view car.
Else don’t waste time.

And yes, all done online direct selling.
Ownself settle off free.
U ask dealer do the paperwork is about $500-600 coffee moeny.
Some dealer can help do paperwork.

Log into One-motoring. You will see your car log card, all the details are there. Including your coe price and $$ if you would deregister today.:)

If i may, i would suggest find a price between the dereg value and the average price of same made and mth/year within sg carmart and price your ride to entise cash buyer. Is easy with cash, meet up, hand over cash or cashier order, transfer online and pay $25, buyer must have insurance ready.

I bought 4 cars using carousell, all paid in cash so far so good. As a cash buyer I want a win win situation for both.

can consider sell it back to the dealer

can try carro.sg motorist app to get no obligation quote to roughly get the value

but anyway for direct sgcarmart has guides and sample paperwork templates to use
since you have no loan to settle, trickier part will be on the buyer's side to secure loan and insurance
