You go and see their phone list that is compatible with the services la.

Different handset.

Like I have a Samsung A54, which supported by their 5G services.

5G - https://support.simba.sg/hc/en-us/article_attachments/25425333707033

But if no 5G network and go to 4G, then isn't it cannot use since their 4G don't support Samsung A54.

4G - https://www.simba.sg/static/media/VoLTE-Devices.255035f9.pdf
"The 5G phones allows for interoperability with 4G/3G/2G network. Therefore, 5G phones work with 4G network, as same as 4G phones work with 3G network"

Unless 4g base stations are decommission totally else no impact one leh.

The main thing about simba is volte compatible phones

1. can a senior sign 2 or more lines under one account?

2. from prepaid port over, can the remaining balance in prepaid be refunded etc?
Sir, pls monitor your seniors’ mobile and do not install banking app on their phones

But they already written clearly on their PDF notes where Samsung A54 does not support their VoLTE 4G services. If want to argue, they will win since there's already black and white.

If the service is from either M1, SingTel or Starhub, don't need to bother because any network can be used. But Simba is special and that's why they listed down what phones are compatible and what phones aren't.

You don't see M1, Singtel or Starhub list down which phones can or cannot be used.

Lol i already stated in my post about VOLTE compatibility.

Also FYI simba list is not full list. Also some phones can turn on VOLTE even if not on simba phone list. Lol.

I been using simba since tpg days la. I also have phones not listed in their list and if you call or ask their support will just say not compatible lol please follow recommended list but how come my non listed phones still can turn on volte and compatible to tpg or simba? Lol. Theres also thread out there with posting teaching people how to turn on their volte using codes if the option is not available in the phone settings.

Lol you ask them their laoya tech support will just open pdf tell you oh not listed cannot lol. I tried before i know la wapiang eh. Standard basic tech sales support answer. Lol

Then you must buy phone recommended on their list lol. Please leh no need so mafan one leh now 2024 liao even some older models phones can compatible.

Users must know their phone settings and capabilities lah. I read the specs leh of phones online.

There's an official thread on simba in hwz also. You go there ask you get better answer maybe lol

Simba is the cheapest but their volte is bad especially for cheap chinese phone. Sometime it work sometime it doesn't, too hard to troubleshoot with senior. Plus Simba if you are porting you need to sign $10 for 6 months before you can switch to senior. In the end, I chose Zero1 $7 using Singtel network for peace of mind and it isn't even a senior plan anyone can sign up. Good for senior that don't travel as it doesn't have roaming.

What's your experience? Any recommendations?

Currently on eight and simba senior plan. $5/mth.

Eight on 4g. very jialat. They use cheap bad ip addresses. Many websites auto block you when on eight.

Simba still very unreliable even tho 5g.

Last time heya still not so bad, but at certain mrt station like bishan to newton always 0 connection.
