Hello Mac users,
Just sharing of a free/donationware software for you to scan and remove adware from your mac.
This is made by the guys from thesafemac.com, if check out their website, they have step by step instructions to remove some known adwares manually.
With this app, it's much easier for you to scan and remove those adwares.
Tried and tested today on a client's macbook pro.
The adware is messing all different kind of browsers(Safari & google chrome), internet banking login pages are forwarded to ad-infected websites.
Previously, I've been checking the system locations manually as per - The Safe Mac » Adware Removal Guide : Identification
But now this can be done easily with Adware Medic - The Safe Mac » Adware Removal Guide
If for some reason there's a new adware that affected your system and it's not found under the Adware Medic lists of adwares, you can send a system screenshot and the makers of the app will try to find it and update the Adware list to include in the next update.
