Sit inside air-conditioned room and stare at a sonar display, monitor and watch out for any signs of large creatures (dolphins, sharks, mermaids, whales etc. etc.) that might enter the naval base.

Very troublesome if vessels sailing out struck them, might result in damage to the hull or propellers.

thanks finally got a clearer picture. not many ppl know about this vocation. I though is like security trooper protect the ship de.

Some of the sharks are very dangerous. Have to contact BDS and get sea soldiers to catch and remove them.
