I have an iPhone 5S, working well. I'm thinking of getting an iPad mini 2 since they have bigger screen for me to play my games, listen music, watch videos and read news without needing to always charge the iPhone. Thing is, are iPads really worth it? Macbook = computer. iPhone = phone. iPad = ??? You got phone you got computer, a tablet can do what? I googled and no surprise, people are debating about buying an iPad while already having an iPhone and a laptop/computer. Soooo.. may I have your opinions? Take not I'm nowhere near a tech pro :s12:

I've upgraded to the iPhone 6+ 3 months ago; before that I was using my old 4s & I thought I needed an iPad. Now with the iPhone 6+, I no longer feel I need an iPad any more, thanks to the size of the 6+ and its excellent battery life.

Macbook = computer. iPhone = phone. iPad = ???

That aside, I always have a full screen cellular iPad (annually upgaded up to air 2 now) along with my iPhones from 4S, 5S to 6 Plus. I like what iPhone has to offer itself, but imo iPad does it so much better, disregarding the fact that iPad does not have all the iPhone features e.g calls and whatsapp due to device platform functionality limitation.

I find my 6 plus a rather slow device (subjective) as compared to my air 2, everything just seems flawless and buttery smooth on the air 2.

It really depends on your needs.

For me, iPad is the perfect device because I read alot of PDFs on my iPad.

It will be too strenuous on the eyes to read the same articles on my iPhone 6+.
