Received a conditional offer from them and currently waiting for the prep course schedule.
Basically lecturers will teach the same module for 2 weeks straight and classes are 3h/day, mon to fri. The time slot will remain the same for 1 week and may change slot the following week. This info is from current students
do u know if it’s project based or 100% exam like UOL?

It varies from module to module but it is a mixture of assignment+exam, assignment or exam only. If I'm not wrong, class participation is not included. Current students, please correct me if I am wrong.
Some articles I found on UOB:

2. httpsdot//digitalseniordotsg/university-of-birmingham-sim-review-singapore/
I actually did quite a bit of research about this school before choosing to enroll so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge but take it with a pinch of salt cos i'm not a current student yet lol![]()
i dropped a pm!
Hi! I don't have enough posts so can't reply you.
hmm what info do you need? I can try to help you.
I know there isn't much info that you can find about UOB anywhere on this site or other sites so I have been researching since last year and thus i replied on the thread to help others.
For the assessment style, I remember I saw somewhere (but I can't recall where) that class participation is not included. Depending on the module, some are assignments, some are exams and some are a combination of both. Since there are 10-credit and 20-credit modules, the former is likely only either assignment/exam.
Because the UK campus sends down lecturers to sg to teach, each module is taught consecutively for two weeks, mon to fri (very seldomly, a sat) 3 hours each time. If I am not wrong, the assignment needs to be completed by the end of the module but I'm not very sure about that. The exams for all the modules taught in the same semester will be held together at the end of the same semester.
i see! my concern is primarily on the the curriculum because i don’t want it to be like UOL which only be determined by just an exams. :/ i been trying to find more info on UOB too but to no avail :/
Hello!.
Is a must to have a gpa 3.0 in order to get an offer?
If you are concerned about the curriculum, I think you should also consider the style of teaching which UOB offers as it is different from UOL. As mentioned previously, the same module will be done for 2 consecutive weeks which is unlike other schools (and probably what you are used to) where they teach several modules at the same time, throughout the entire semester.
In one of the links I have shared in my previous posts, the writer mentioned briefly about the UOB lecturers' way of teaching and marking, perhaps you can take a look at that first.
What questions will they ask?Yes, for those lower than 3.0. Have to go through an interview with one of the British coordinators. Grad in 2014.
