Don't talk rubbish

Tons of rain, temperature drop and haze from Indonesia, all cannot handle.

Even return trays in hawker centres also fail.

What Green Plan?

While all of this is done in good faith

no matter how much Singapore burns, the bulk of carbon emissions comes from USA, China, India and all the much bigger nations.

Even if Singapore suddenly magic carbon footprint is ZERO, it will mean nothing to the world and the grand scheme of things because we are that insignificant relative to the other emitters in the world

China 28%
USA 15%
India 7%

as of February 2021.

Singapore is not even on the list

Sinkieland too small but the amount of air-conditioning probably makes the carbon footprint massive

i didn't watch the video

but our climate change efforts should be on how to cope with rising sea levels

should consider how Holland managed to solve this with their nation-wide Dikes/Dams/Insfrastructure

How to go green with open legs policy for CECAs/FTs flooding our tiny dot like a Ponzi scheme?

With an ever increasing of population from FTs, it will inevitably lead to scarcity, higher consumption and costs of living, land grab and destruction of forests which pushes for further need to increase FTs to boost GDP growth like a never-ending vicious cycle.

Once our current over-population numbers are reduced to a comfortable level, consumption will decrease along with less need for land space and resources, build-up of local capital and talent, less dependent on FW which leads to higher productivity, including restoration of secondary forests and the environment will automatically become greener again.

What the Pappys are doing now can only lead us down the path of total destruction like a Horror movie. :s8:
