K so basically I realise I've been using a lot of data and always exceeding my 3GB bundled in my data plan. Should I subscribe to this datamore add on for additional data? Or any better suggestions so I can surf more on the go for less?

I signed up for a separate data plan for my iPad.

End up almost never use the iPad at all cuz troublesome to take out when outside.

Datamore might be a good idea.

If u excess every month then you should go for data more, but if u only excess certain month, I suggest not sign for it because might not worth and it will tie u at least 12 months... The excess charges only $10.70 per GB compare to data more only $2 extra...

if you almost every month use more data than your plan comes bundled with, consider DataMore or, plan upgrade, or better still, port over to 1 of the other 2 telcos with plans with additional data bundle at similar price point.

You don't really have much choice, as this is exactly what they are counting on to take more money off of you - by taking away the 12GB that you could have had, and then sell it back to you for more money.

If you op for data more chances r u will have the mindset that now I have more data I can surf/game/video watch even more and soon you will find yourself in the same situation again. For myself I was in a similar situation thus I tried to find out what exactly it was eating into my data.

So I cut down on it or when I have wifi then I will surf or do it. But then maybe you have more self control so it all depends.

Use prepaid for your ipad.

Better yet, switch to prepaid for the phone as well. M1 prepaid now allows you to add additional data at $5 per GB, so as long as you don't spend heaps of time calling (or need a telco subsidised phone) it might be a better deal than those postpaid plans...

What is this datamore all about? Is it buying extra gb?

All i can say is, this business concept is shrewd. They pull a fast one and took away the 12gb saying the subscriber doesnt utilise all. And when its limited to 2gb now at the same price, you now have to add extra $ for extra gb.

Can i check with you guys ?

Anyone knows if i only intending to increase 1GB of my data plan for 1 month only (from 2 to 3GB), is it more worth it to sign up for data more?

How does data more works? Does it mean if you did not consume that extra 1 GB which you sign up for, then u will not be billed accordingly?
