Skype and messanger problem

When i using no-metro mode, if someone msg me.. on the top right corner will pop out small box. 1 from skype 1 from messager and both display same content. How to disable these 2 program from metro in displaying in normal window mode?

I believe you can install the normal skype.

yea I using normal skype... but metro messanger keep interfering with my normal skype. anyway to disable metro messenger without deleting it?

Open Charms bar.
Go to Settings.
At the bottom of the Settings bar, click Change PC Settings.

Go to Notifications.
Toggle the Skype one.

I just installed msn skype to replace my msn messenger. However, after I've installed, my sounds are not working at all. I tried to play music from my Windows Media Player, n from the web, no sounds at all.

Anyone can help?

maybe you need to download the latest full skypesetup and it will do the trick..i did upgrade mine msn to skype

I mean the inbox icon on the old messenger. Where is the inbox icon for the new skype messenger ? Where is the pop up when I receive something in my inbox for the new skype messenger ?

Anyone's skype is hanging when it's launching ?

I found out when I restore the main.db it hangs. After I delete the main.db and it creates a new one it works. Which means it doesn't allow me to restore my previous history chat.

I have try to uninstall skype and download it from Windows Store.

the skype cache overloaded
me client also hav the same problemo
her skype cache files was 1.3Gig
so i uninstalled the skype
did a through regedit skpe removals
reinstall skype
whoila...

use revo uninstaller (or similar tools) to do a complete uninstall and reinstall.. problem seems to be with huge cache files
