i went to skyscanner to check out airtickets. Some tickets are offered by online companies which i've not heard of like BYOjet, Bravofly, skidoo and skypicker. Are they reliable? Anyone booked tickets from skyscanner and from these never heard before before?

Tried bravofly on a short trip to Penang using jetstar/tiger in March. It works but problem was the booking reference no. for one of the legs not available so I was worried whether i am on or off. Also, since not direct with airline, if need to change or want extras, difficult to communicate.

skyscanner is reliable.
however, skyscanner is just a platform for ppl to compare airline prices

just like trivago
if you book hotel from xyz website and realize the hotel has not received your booking. you wouldnt say trivago is responsible would you ?

for budget airline, normally would book direct
coz is the safest :)
you can do web check in yourself and select standard seats for free :)

Are the prices on the skyscanner final? Or got hidden charges? Scared they add in this and that, end up more expensive

Skyscanner receive the prices as it is. But the site that sells the air tickets may not have included the various charges. One experience I had was with Expedia.

Price on Skyscanner (Expedia selling) - $248
Click to go Expedia buy - $300++ ($248 + taxes)

Well I guess everybody have their own experiences. Haven't encountered any problems yet.

Nowadays I usually go with those credit card promotions.

LOL. Use email. I haven't encountered one that's not responsive. Plus they may not speak our language well... later miscommunicate more jialat.

Email at least they got time to understand and reply properly.
