I have the fuchsia one. Trust me, unless you are a girl, you do not want it.
It is not as deep and rich as the picture. its alot more pinkish.
And it is only good as a protective sleeve around your naked mac before putting it into some other bag for transport.

Its nice thou.

siron => yes its thin..

you can consider this if you are gona transport your mbp in another bag.
But if you are gona hand carry it, i'd suggest the speck case.
I personnally switched from the sleevz to the speck case..
but when i remove my speck for cleaning, i like to use my mbp naked for a few days, just to get a feel of the smooth aluminium finish that i fell in love with!
wahAHhAHahhhA..

i had both shipped from their respective website directly.
google for discount code and you can get it them at relatively reasonable price.
shipping takes rnd 5 working days.

PS. I love the speck satin! The texture feels damn smooth.

fabz, speck case did come across my mind
but felt that it would make my mbp more thick and not sure whether heat is dissipated well enough although there are some tiny holes at the bottom.

Lets see,
I'm running a late 2008 unibody mbp.
normally, just running on 'Better Battery Life' mode, my average temp is in the 50s..
with vmware running XP sp2 it hits the high 60s, with program running in vmware, the temp goes up to the low 70s.
like now, i'm running firefox, adium, itunes, vmware is running xp sp2 and im playing plant vs zombie(damn nice game lar), my temp is 72, fan is spinning at rnd 3500rpm, cpu ultilization is rnd 70+%.

i think the temp is considered normal rite?
at least, from some forums i read in the past (cant rmb).

when i run premiere pro with 'higher performance' and is rendering video, (running along with my firefox, and itunes)
the temp will hit low 80s but the fan will pick up speed and the temp will normally maintain at mid to high 70s.

hope this is enough to help you make a decision.. =)

edit,
about the part of it making your mbp thicker, i feel that its is not that much of a difference, but it maybe just me.
there are indentations on the bottom of the case but only around 1/3 of it is is cut with holes, but i guess for now, i've no complains for the heat dissipation. only thing is that the satin's surface attracts dust easily, but this is just a matter of cleaning it with a TLC!

This is only for handholding or if you gonna put it into another case of sorts. Definitely has no shock/force absorbption.

finally bought the fabrix case

a soft interior that won't scratch your mbp and a durable enough exterior and stitching that should resist wear and tear for years. the fit is also snug enough .

the case offer the benefits of padding ,which does, it must be said, add a fair bulk to the case

these cases are well-made, with solid stiching and good construction.
bottom line, chances are fabrix has your ticket. it will be difficult to be disappointed with your purchase. :)

I chose not to buy the Radtech sleevz for a simple reason - they are overpriced thin sheets of cloth sewn together.

The same price gets you many other options. I personally went with Fabrix.
