SLS CPU+Mobo bundle price

I see most shops have a CPU+Mobo bundle price. Usually with * conditions apply. Is it must buy "Full system" from them then can get at that price? If just buying the CPU+Mobo only, must top up about $10-$20?

Eg. Tradepac, Ryzen 3600 + B450M Steel legend is listed as $405. If only buy CPU+Mobo it will likely be slightly higher right?

Maybe try amazon ? because those 2 item doesnt really warranty, infact i never go service center in my lifetime b4 , i feel the time wasted = money unless u suay until tio DOA

it depends on shop's T&C... but i remember most shop's bundle price is when u buy the CPU+mobo, not required to buy the whole system. They just want to avoid u buy just the mobo or just the cpu.

Yes for most **** shops. If not buying full system always double or triple confirm price with them first.

Even during product launch or whenever there is a shortage of CPU stocks the chinese shops also chut this stunt.

Price will be that as stated, not full system. Then from there bargain more. If u persistent and try can shave off $10-$15.

Usually when I buy physically at SLS, I will go Tradepac and at Tradepac, try to approach the older guy. Should be the owner.

Advice to know what is the current market price first before bargain. At least you don't go beyond the limit.

Last I ask at tradepac few years ago they say must buy full system to get that bundle price. Not sure if it is still the same now. Haven't buy anything from sls very long already. Some shop I think is mobo+cpu price some is full system you will have to check with the particular shop.

Ya I usually buy on amazon or lazada shopee with vouchers. Atm though, the amazon ryzen 3600 at 190usd + shipping is almost the same price as getting it from sls shops on lazada so not that worth to get it online. Plus the online versions of the sls shops actually sell them abit more ex than at sls itself, unless u have vouchers which make them abit cheaper than going to sls. So waiting to see if new years day or cny have vouchers.

Mobo got some merit to getting local: most parts u can troubleshoot yrself if u got spare parts. But mobo is hardest to test. if yr system fail to start and you can't figure out what is wrong, can go to the distro and bring all yr stuff ask them test. Tech dynamic quite helpful. Also, mobo is the bulkiest of your PC parts, so send overseas for rma will be the costliest.

Send back if you would RMA. But so far all my 3 CPU+mobo+ram+rx 580 combo arrives without issue. And all running fine.

If only buying CPU+MB bundle can shave off $10-15 from the price stated in pricelist? A few years ago I went to tradepac and they quote me extra like 30-40 dollars unless I buy a full set from them. I also bargained with them to buy at pricelist price but they don't allow, ended up buying it at pctheme instead
