Not bad.. first time was a $5 rebate and subsequently only $0.4 or $0.5. I used it probably 8-10 times since last 3 months but only if it’s really within walking distance.

Tried. Quite convenient to withdraw from Phoon Huat or neighborhood mobile shop or neighborhood provisional shops. Fuss free

Only 7/11 store need to have purchase before cash withdrawal. Other shops no need. PM if need referral code.

I’ve been using socash to withdraw cash instead of atm. No need to q up at atm to withdraw money. In addition, there also cash rebate, which atm do not offer.

So far only encounter 7-11 which requires purchase before you can withdraw cash. Other shops do not need

Like NETS can any time add this into all existing merchants with less hassle.

Think socash is funded by the banks eg dbs.

Due to unfair licensing, only local banks can have unlimited atms.. foreign banks are limited.. as such this is a bypass... moreover it is expensive to maintain atm also

for those withdrawing via 7-Eleven, do you know what is the buttons/keys to press on the cashier's POS to get them to successfully withdraw via SoCash?

i've met like at least 7-8 times different outlets, where cashier don't know what to press or even got the SoCash button pressed still cannot trigger the withdrawal. some even say they don't know how to use and thus cannot accept.

there's a standard set of steps to follow, but not all staffs are briefed. very irritating. i gotta educate the counter staff each time.

Didn't know there's rebate beyond the first withdrawal. How do you check?

Then it also appears on the TOP right hand corner of app that says $0.4 freecash.

Didn't know there's rebate beyond the first withdrawal. How do you check?

Iirc just click on the link, install the app, sign up to socash. Will get cashback for referral upon the first withdrawal.
