The OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 Update is recommended for all Mavericks users. It improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac.
This update:

- Fixes an issue that prevented some Macs from automatically connecting to known Wi-Fi networks
- Improves the reliability of wake from sleep
- Includes Safari 7.0.5

after i updated, restarted and screen just hangs at Apple logo.

did a safe boot (press and hold shift key when power up till u c Apple logo) and it managed to work.

fyi in case u experience a similar issue.

Juz updated mine..

Safari is fuccck now.. Cannot surf.. Keep saying error connecting to the targeted website's server..

Anyone facing the same issue? :(

Hmm, sounds like quite a screwed up update leh with all these negative feedback.

after few times of shutting down and rebooting, everything is back online..

keeping my fingers crossed for now.. 2010 MBP 4GB RAM here btw.. :o:o

Last time ever since Leopard I recall OS X would always prompt me that there's an update available. Since Lion, it no longer does that. I have to wait for such forum msg then go and click software update to see it there.

Was the auto reminder thingie turned off?

store notification still works for me, but ever since that shitty lion i nv update until the internet says the update is stable. :s22:
