Some question regarding refomating

Hi Pros, I have a old computer which I brought from Acer 3 years ago, all part brought from acer which I believe is like a wholesale set.

Can I use another brand bew window OS to reformat the whole computer or do I die die have to use the disc which they provided??

u want to use a new OS disc to format ONLY or u want to install the new OS?

if u want to format only u can use the disc they provide. if u want to install the new OS then by all means use the new OS disc, it will format and install for u
