Hi all! I'm matriculating this August and have some concerns, hopefully some seniors here can answer them for me!

1. How do you manage your finances? I am an SPR and I heard that it is harder for me to get a bursary/scholarship as compared to a Singaporean. Because I am from a low-income family, I don't want to burden my parents too much and I want to work part-time (20 hours/week). Is this advisable? I have considered giving tuition but agencies here take a 50% cut off the first month's pay... :( For those who have scholarships as a PR, what are your grades/achievements and which scholarship did you get? Also, how much do you spend per month on food, transport and school activities on average?

2. How many lessons are there in school in a week and what's the structure like? I'm from civil engineering.

3. Are there any tips and tricks/preperation/supplementary lessons to doing well for lab in school? I'm from JC and I heard that it's more difficult for us to score for lab mods ):
