Someone good with Adobe Illustrator

I'm currently in a midst of a startup with clothing design. I require someone who is profecient in AI.

I need him/her to convert my psd images to AI or directly do an AI image for the design.

You mean ur printer machine will only use AI, illustrator for T-shirt printing??

coz there is no such thing as convert PSD to AI.
you only can convert PSD to Jpeg, Tiff, PNG, gif which all of them classified under raster images.

You can only place PSD(photoshop) file into AI(illustrator)
and it is just for layout purposes.

Your printing source will still depend on your PSD.
and
why you need PSD? coz it will increase ur file size.
