Very compelling stats, will be a very capable B camera for existing A1 users.

No news on sensor readout speeds but if we are to extrapolate the partial stacked sensor they made for Nikon previously then new camera should be adequately fast.

Sony camera bodies have been lagging behind in price/performance value vs Nikon and Canon, and have been losing their years of first mover advantage to Canon in recent years, this will bring them in line at the entry / mid tier segment pending sensible pricing.

Some reviewers label it as baby a1II.
