PRIMARY ROLE:
The role of the Creative Executive is to produces visual solutions to the communication needs of both internal and external customers (Example of internal customer: Product Marketing Department and Project Manager) using a mix of creative skills and understanding of the product key selling points, with the aim of increasing sales by convincing customers through visual/ graphic presentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Meeting internal customers to discuss on requirements and interpreting business needs
• Developing design briefs by gathering information and data to clarify design issues
• Think creatively to contribute ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
• Use innovation to redefine a design brief and meet the constraints of cost, time and customer
• Use a range of media such as photography and computer aided design to produce accurate and high quality visuals
• Creation of marketing collaterals, including catalogues, brochures, direct mailing, flyers, press advertisement and Point of Sales Materials (POSM)
• Manage design & print processes to produce collateral in accordance with guidelines and corporate standards
• Day to day liaison with Strategic Retail Marketing Department (SRMD) Project Manager in the design of collaterals
• Ensure deadlines are met and schedules are adhered to for campaign execution
• Proofread all elements of collaterals to ensure consistency with the corporate style guide
• Embark upon specific marketing communication projects under the guidance of the SRMD Project Manager
• Liaise and manage external agencies
• Timely creation of price and feature card for Sony Designated Store (SDS)
Pre-requisites
• Good standard diploma level education, preferably in Graphic Design
• Minimum of 2 years in Graphic Design role
• Experience in using standard Design and Microsoft Office software packages
• Creative and resourceful
• A self-starter, with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Good in multi-tasking, to work on more than one design brief at a time
• Good interpersonal and situational management skills
