sony nex-vg10 question

I have a sony nex-vg10 video camera with a 18-200 mm lens.

Is there any other types of lens (brand, focal length etc) should i buy which will be good for zooming into far away places and will still be clear?

Is sony ECM-CG50 shotgun mic is a good mic for filming?

you can buy an EF mount adapter and use practically any EF lenses.
