New firmware!

From taiwan instagram
sonyxperiatw

Wa, Sony used to have such in house features on their Z series called "infoeye" which user scan the object then show the item like wine bottle and barcode

yeah finally can use the Google Search and circle feature
Google circle and search was already included on the firmware prior to this. This is probably security update. Let's wait for the released info.

Anyone find your 1vi lose connection at home really easily?

On my 1iii, I can go upstairs and close the door and watch streams and videos at 4k without issue. I can go to the kitchen without issues.

But with my 1vi, it's so bad that going to my room or kitchen immediately drops the connection.

And I always gotta keep keying in my password again 80% of the time when it drops connection.

Usually when u drop connection, just need to connect back but 80% of the time it asks me to key in password again. I gotta key in password 7-8 times a day it's getting freaking annoying.

This issue has been getting worse since few weeks ago.

I never had to reconnect the Internet or rekey in my password so many times before.

Try off your router for at least 30 seconds and then restart and try?

Then also close all your phones background app and turn off phone again wait at least 30 seconds and then power on and try again??

Will try that in a bit. Thanks!
It's really odd how my old 1iii no connectivity issues but my 1vi getting from bad to worse.

Update - it seems a lot better now. Walk to the end of my bedroom, go kitchen and toilet all seems fine. For now. Haha.

Past few weeks have been damn frustrating. Keying in password 7-8 times a day due to dropped connections so often.

@Toader Your advice really worked! Now even when I close the door of my toilet upstairs, not only still got connection but it's still full bar connection!

Just recalled that I changed to 3gbps Internet 2-3 weeks ago and had to get a modem change, that's when the problem started.

Will remember to turn off and on and reset the modem/router next time!

Many thanks!!

Remember it's always two ways or more to establish connections. So try to proper reset both sides/ ANY connections to narrow down the causes ya 😁😁

Also , usually after modem change or any new equipment change / Computer change the Best is to do full proper reset to let the systems try to integrate.
