Speakers 2.1 USB

Please recommend a good clear crisp speaker for my desktop Home Theater system. I've always been using without desktop speakers as an alternate living room workstation other than watching movies using my floor standing speakers system via AV amp via HDMI to TV. Recent;y wanting to add a pair of desktop speakers and use SKYPE.
A good value for money budget below $150 should be good enough.

USB speakers? I believe USB speakers utilize their own onboard 'sound card'.

If you already have a good sound card in your HT system, you could get normal connector types.

I am using onboard HDMI sound from my Graphic card. There is also an onboard motherboard sound chip and I can see that there is another camera audio as well(from the A4Tech camera which has mic)

Can one recommend a pair of simple but good quality speakers for use in Skype? Not necessarily USB type.

i would suggest u get a 3.5mm to RCA cable and use your amp and connect to your PC. the sound quality of your floor speaker is way much better then those PC speakers.
