Spund card recommendation?????

Hi guys, recently got the urge to buy a sound card to upgrade my computer. But dont know is it worth to buy one and it with my current speaker altec lansing vs 4621. but if you guys have any recommendation mind sharing with me???? in my mind i thought of getting Creative sbx z which in within my budget. hope you guys wouldnt mind share some opinion with me

take a look at this.

external dac wont have any noise interference as compared to on-board and dedicated sound card.

if u r thinking that using a sound card to play game then take a look at this video. only use a stereo headphone and not a gaming headset that comes with a virtual surround sound.

otherwise an external dac is best suited for music and movie.

The e09k is a headphone amp and not a dac. It does not have a dac processor, for that you have to also buy the e7 or e17 and dock it.

Btw, a soundcard is a dac and provided that you don't get a cheap one the dac processor used is of a very good quality. If you are concerned with interference you can get an external USB soundcard which normally costs between 100-150. The xonar u7 and x fi HD both have very good reviews. Whether you can hear a difference using your speakers, I am not sure. I can't find much technical specs for your speaker but cheap PC speakers tend to have a very high THD so any improvements by upgrading to a better DAC would be hidden by the muddiness of the speakers.

Thanks guys for the opinion cause i see my speaker actually is working not bad. just wondering if i add in a sound card whether will it make a big difference in it. Coz i quite interested in creative sb z just wonder will it works better with my current speaker

You won't hear much of a difference. But you can hear if you wanna invest on a good pair of earphones or headphones. That speaker of yours is nothing good to bring out the sound though imho.

Then yes it is worth it. The speakers have big diaphragm and definitely it will benefit with a soundcard.

Thanks alot guys. will slowly upgrade 1 by 1 but lets say i got m50w already. which sound card to pick? Creative sb z is it a good choice?

Either a SB z or the Titanium HD.

that time i ask much how,they say $159 n they dun hav stock n if i want to buy ,he can get it for me, n i say yes ,deal .
