I am interested to pursue further on this SQL course after attending some online introduction lesson.

But i am not sure what and where to study on it? Saw many courses on skillfuture. Not sure which are for beginner?

Hi there,

I went through the link you shared, and there's a wide variety of courses available.

The thing about databases is that "SQL" is a generic language to query/instruct the database, but it is implemented across different types of databases like Oracle, SAP Hana, etc ...

Each database usually has some additional built-in features - some of which are different from other databases in the market, and some are very similar with other databases.

If you are at beginner level, then the most important for you to do is to get up to speed, and get to the intermediate proficiency level by getting comfortable in SQL itself. If you are working in a company that uses Oracle for example, then its good and important to learn more about the built-in features of Oracle so that you can master Oracle in addition to using only SQL to manage it.

I hope this gives you something to think about when choosing which of the courses to undertake.

While most of these live (not self-learning videos) courses are priced slightly below $1k, there are also some that are priced way higher.

You may want to consider something more personal, effective and more value for money. I'm a practitioner and have been using SQL for a long time, and I can help you understand the key areas of the above syllabus in 1-3hours, depending on how fast you can go.
