Actually you all got the wrong idea, e2e data protection is different from e2e data loss protection.
Adata sx8200 pro has e2e data protection, which means when it has a soft error (signal attenuation, noise etc in its path), ecc will kick in and check the data integrity, and then correct the data as appropriate. All this time power is still on.
E2e data loss protection is mainly used in enterprise ssd, where when there is a total power loss, the on board capacitors will supply enough voltage/current long enough for the flash translation layer to be written from dram to nand, so that when you next power up, the ftl is still intact and bios can recognise the ssd.
TS case is that the ftl is gone, hence when power up bios can not detect at all.
Those dramless ssd won't have this issue, as ftl is inside controller sram, hence its a lot faster than dram if there is a power loss for it to transfer ftl back to nand.
